The Federation Ship Services Department is a directory service, information center, and supply depot all rolled into one. Other fleets are known to call this department the office of the Quartermaster.

This department also maintains up-to-date copies of all reference materials and supplies new copies as soon as revisions are made, such as:

• Bylaws Handbook
• Chapter Handbook
• GEO Handbook
• Members Handbook

This department can also provide other documents for reference use and assist with the creation of chapter-customized certificates and materials, such as:

• Chapter Commissioning Certificates (Re-Issues Only!)
• Chapter Letterhead Templates
• Chapter Membership Card Templates
• Fleet Award Certificates (Re-Issues Only!)
• Promotion Certificate Templates
• Updated Crew Rosters
• Any other certificates, forms or templates needed.

This department also maintains a database of sources for items not available through the Federation Stores, such as:

• Rank Insignia Pins
• Uniform Materials & Patterns
• Other Uniform Accessories

Due to the financial component involved with membership kits, the Operations department is responsible for the paper copies of those documents. The Fleet Commissions department is responsible for providing new chapters their original documentation.
