The Federation is an active member fan organization. Local Federation Chapters are created to better serve the individual tastes and needs of the community. If a Federation ship/chapter is not currently patrolling your local sector, our proven construction techniques can help you quickly build a proud, new Federation SuperStarship in your area!
At the international level, The Federation is concerned with environmental issues, the survival of all endangered species, and humanitarian needs. Our members around the world share these concerns and regularly take part in and submit articles on topics ranging from recycling programs to endangered species legislation. Our members really get involved with civic efforts like blood drives, tree planting campaigns, fund raising for civic and charitable activities, disaster relief, and much more.
The Federation is committed to promoting the exploration of space and space education. The Federation's international newsletter, VOYAGES, regularly reports on space related activities around the planet. Local chapters sponsor field trips to space education facilities and lectures on the space sciences. Some chapters even form model rocket teams, amateur radio networks, and astronomy groups.
No matter which forms of STAR TREK you enjoy, you'll find something of interest in The Federation! We take the adventure of TREK and adapt it to today's world. We strive to bring you current information regarding activities on and off the sets. Read the views and opinions of STAR TREK fans from around the globe in VOYAGES. Discuss the various aspects of the STAR TREK Universe with friends at monthly meetings. And, since local chapters tailor themselves to the interests of their crew, some enjoy role playing games, detailed model building, and writing about their own fictional ship and crew histories and adventures. Chapters frequently attend and serve a tour of duty at local STAR TREK conventions, parties, and movie and television show premiers.
