Federation Logos Get a Tweak

Writer's picture: Russ HaslageRuss Haslage

In the spirit of a 40-year friendly relationship between Paramount and The Federation, and in light of The Federation becoming the "big guys' in the fan universe following the opening of our new facility, we have tweaked our logos.

In 2011, representatives of CBS and Paramount told us that we were free to use the "tall star" as our own. What we call the "delta star" has been the centerpiece of all of our logos since that permission was granted. Paramount has renewed that permission during our recent discussions.

On this First Contact Day, I wanted to report that we have worked with Paramount to tweak our logos to better serve our organization and to protect the intellectual property of Paramount Global. Paramount has given us written permission to use the attached logos designed by Scotty Roberts.

It is always nice to work with our associates and friends at Paramount as we blaze the way to the future of Trek fandom. Here's to many more years...and centuries...of working together on behalf of all fans while we uphold the Roddenberry ideals of respect, inclusion and a brighter future.
